Outdoor Cycling

During the spring and summer seasons when the weather is warm, we like to get outside and explore our area by bike. These organized rides are great for the beginner or moderate cyclist who wants to enjoy a group ride led by a seasoned and safe instructor who carefully maps out a route that is both visually and physically engaging. We offer a number of different bike tours that are between 1 & 1/2 to 2 hours, unless specified. Cyclists must wear helmets and should bring water bottles along with their bikes. Our favorite routes include:
City Island

The City Island ride is a truly wonderful experience for cyclists of all levels. Beginning in Pelham, we travel along a beautiful and relatively flat bike trail while enjoying the seaside views of the sound all the way into City Island. As we cross over the bridge into this very charming New England fishing village, you will feel like you have traveled miles away.

Rye the Waves

Join us on this very fun and beautiful bike excursion around Rye. We will travel a scenic route, including some hills, as we ride along the Long Island Sound and picturesque residential neighborhoods.

Scarsdale Scramble

We will wander our way through beautiful and majestic neighborhoods of Scarsdale on rolling terrain. Some of the ride takes place on busier roads.

Mansion Mash

This will be a brisk-paced ride with a mix of flat roads and a few challenging hills, while enjoying scenic views of the many neighborhoods in and around New Rochelle.

Harrison Hop

We will ride along rolling terrain as we explore majestic Harrison. This is a longer ride, with rolling hills, and early parts on busier roads, then we transition to country roads.

West Side Highway

The Hudson River Park path runs along Manhattan’s west side. We will ride 11 miles each way where we will see continuously beautiful city sites along the Hudson River. We will begin our journey at 96th street and ride along the Hudson River on this beautiful path, viewing spectacular sites such as the Intrepid as we travel to Battery Park. Riding on this bike path is a spectacular way to explore New York.  The path is filled with many cyclists, runners and rollerbladers strolling along this relatively flat terrain.
